When you call for your appointment, we will discuss how you can submit our detailed receipts along with your insurance company&#8217;s claim forms for reimbursement.\u00a0 Medallion does accept UMR\/PEIA discounted rates.<\/p>\n<p>Medicare and Medicaid recipients will not be able to submit their receipts for reimbursement because I have chosen to &#8220;Opt Out&#8221; of Medicare.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why a &#8220;Fee for Service&#8221; Practice is Better for Everyone<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1.\u00a0 By using the fee for service model, I can see fewer clients.\u00a0 This means you will be scheduled more quickly, you can return on a schedule that fits your needs, you will be seen on time, and I can respond to phone calls and emergencies promptly.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Therapeutic decisions such as length of time in treatment, frequency of sessions, and the focus of sessions will be decided by you, not your insurance company.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Clients are motivated to come on time, work hard, and finish therapy quickly. My goal is for you to no longer need my services.<\/p>\n<p>4. Because I don&#8217;t bill insurance companies, I don&#8217;t have to inflate my rates to maximize insurance contracts.
